Nothing broke my heart more than hearing my sister say she felt the world had moved on as if she were no longer here. Chemo had left her immune system completely non existent. Birthdays and holidays were missed. The days were long. But the love and support she received from God, friends and family helped her through these darkest moments of her journey.
Part of our mission at Walk Home Together is to help other breast cancer patiences feel loved and not forgotten. So we are launching our very first campaign to pack 49 boxes! These boxes will have the new book Not What I Signed Up For by Nicole Unice, personalized daily scripture cards, as well as donations of handmade soaps & lipbalm, journal, pens, perppermints, fuzzy socks, etc.
